You betcha, apparently you can knit anything. I found this on a website called You Grow Girl. I just thought this pattern was so beautiful that I had to share it. I never thought a beet could look so appetizing:)

Did you see the knit cheeseburger in the Tribune last Sunday? It had components (lettuce, pickle, onion, etc.) which could be taken apart and stacked however you like. The artist made it as a stacking toy for her young son. It was beautiful. This knit beet is quite 'beetiful' as well! Ha-Ha.
The funny thing is that I actually did see that cheese burger in the Sunday Trib. I never get the Trib but decided to last sunday and there it was, more knit food.
